Enterprise Architect

As the successful applicant you will develop an in-depth understanding of both the technology strategy and enterprise architecture and chart the course for to ensure the business is leading the way with its use of technology to drive digital business and delivering on strategy. This would be achieved through multiple initiatives that execute on the strategy, such as expanding the use of AI services, building on the Platform Strategy to accelerate development of digital products and services and fostering cross-team collaboration to deliver high-quality business solutions. A selection of your key duties will include proposing future state design and charting/tracking a path to realise it over the med-long term and carrying out R&D to discover opportunities for innovation in financial markets. Capturing, tracking, and reporting on usage metrics across the technology estate, to assist in measuring success and decision making. Working in Partnership with C-Suite leadership in setting the firm's technology strategy and facilitating effective collaboration to align and document decision making across the technology estate.

To be considered you will need to demonstrate the ability to develop and implement technology strategies aligned with business goals, substantial experience working with high-calibre software engineering teams and a deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. A broad knowledge of security principles and practices, experience implementing enterprise-wide systems and delivering cloud-native, distributed architectures. You will exhibit strong leadership skills, include excellent communication, ability to work collaboratively with different teams and executive leadership, and experience in training and mentoring colleagues. Previous experience working in the financial services sector, including regulatory requirements and market trends is preferred.
