Quant Developer (Rust or C++)

Our client is a leader in the energy derivatives space.

The company is engaged in a complex, large scale greenfield project aimed at creating a new exchange and algorithmic trading platform. To achieve this, they are searching for a skilled Rust developer to join their high performing team.

Th ideal candidate will have commercial Rust experience or come from a C++ background and have the desire to move into/learn Rust. Previous experience working as a Quant developer, especially within a trading environment will be seen as an advantage although this is not a necessity.
Some of the more rudimentary coding will be carried out in Python, so strong Python experience is key. We are ideally looking for candidates who come from a traditional Computer Science background, especially those who have a strong academic record, ideally from a top University.
