About the Role
Technical Business Analyst - Beacon Platform - Risk - Energy & Commodities
- My client is a Power Trading business based in London; they are looking to hire a Technical Business Analyst with Beacon Platform experience to join the Risk Trading Technology team.
- You will need to have a Python Developer/Python Technical Analyst background as there is a focus on improving automation and process efficiency including the continuous improvement of risk reporting.
About the role:
- Analysis & documentation of business requirements and processes related to Beacon
- Very strong knowledge of Python, in the application of Python for data analysis and automation
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements and develop solutions relating to the Beacon Platform
- Support Beacon Platform with trading, risk, and reporting systems
- Support in the integration and maintenance of Beacon systems and applications; re-factoring code, fixing bugs
- Ensure system performance, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues. Full SDLC
Your background:
- Several years experience working with Beacon Platform as a BA, Technical Analyst or Python Developer.
- STEM/ Computer Science degree/MSc Software development /Technical background
- Energy Trading background in particular Power and Gas Trading.
- Market Risk in particular VAR.
This role is hybrid, with 2/3 days onsite and the remainder from home.
