Global Head of Clearing Technology

This high-profile role represents an excellent opportunity for experienced technology leader to take ownership of clearing technology as the business embarks on a period of significant expansion. As the successful applicant you will work closely with the business owner and senior stakeholders of the clearing business to define the requirements for technology delivery and lead development and support functions within the clearing business. A selection of your key duties will be to identify and support strategic technological direction for the clearing business, build and communicate roadmaps that show the high-level delivery approach over coming periods. Right-size the Technology footprint in Clearing for a cost-effective service that delivers exceptional quality, work in partnership with senior stakeholders in the business to prioritise delivery and innovate new solutions, ensuring the business is always one step ahead of the competition such as research new concepts and technologies, evaluate third party products, create initiatives and epics that capture business deliverables.

To be considered you will be able to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and the ability to work in partnership with key business stakeholders to deliver a market leading clearing solution. Detailed knowledge of FCM and Clearing products gained within a Financial Institution and knowledge of vendor systems used within the Clearing space, e.g. ION, Broadridge is essential. Vendor management experience – including delivery of large, vendor-centric projects, product Development Experience in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will extended knowledge across multiple asset classes, front to back trade lifecycle knowledge and experience of trading Technologies.
