This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious candidate to take responsibility for voice and messaging technology within a financial trading firm. As the successful applicant you will lead a specialist team responsible for managing the global voice and messaging infrastructure including office telephony, mobile solutions, voice recording platforms and 3rd party messaging solutions. You will oversee several voice and messaging platforms used across our regional offices ensuring that the platforms are highly available, secure and have required data archiving and retention policies in place to ensure compliance with regulations and company policy. You will influence and drive the strategy of voice and messaging communication at Marex and oversee projects to deliver on that strategy. Key objectives in the role will be to lead the vision and implementation of modern Voice Services, ensure Voice Services are resilient and fully tested. Own and manage the relationships with vendors, manage renewals and identify cost/value optimisation initiatives. Work with the Compliance Team to ensure voice and messaging data archiving and retention processes meet compliance requirements. Management and delivery of Voice projects being including initial consultations.
As the ideal candidate you will be able to demonstrate expertise and knowledge across voice and messaging technologies such as, Cisco Call Manager systems/Cloud 9. Red Box, Orex Voxsmart, Telephone lines (BT & Six Degrees), Private Wires (IPC & Flexenet), Session Border Controller (SBC) integrations, MS Teams voice SIP integrations, Chat Platforms and surveillance tooling and Global Relay integrations. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a Front Office trading environment, excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem solving.
